Equiliem in Dallas, TX seeks a LIMS Administrator to be the primary contact for LIMS support, configuration, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with laboratory staff and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows.

The role requires translating lab processes into technical requirements, managing enhancement requests, coordinating testing and deployment, and ensuring changes meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in laboratory operations with LIMS administrator responsibilities or LIMS configuration/technical support.
• Ability to translate laboratory workflows and testing requirements into technical specifications for developers and support teams.
• Experience with testing, production deployment, and coordinating changes in a lab IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with laboratory staff and commercial teams to identify system bottlenecks, reduce manual workarounds, and improve daily workflows.
• Provide frontline user support for login issues, data entry, reporting, system configuration, and other functional concerns.
• Maintain and configure system master data, including users, contracts, quotes, analyses, variations, instruments, maintenance records, products, specifications, and user permissions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between laboratory personnel and LIMS support teams.
• Gather and translate laboratory workflows and testing needs into functional requirements, technical specifications, and reproducible test cases.
• Submit, prioritize, and track support tickets and system enhancement requests through resolution.
• Validate configuration changes in test environments and coordinate user acceptance testing with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate system changes through final delivery and production deployment.
• Track multiple tickets and testing activities to ensure timely completion and verified results.
