Job summary

RadNet in New York is seeking a Limited X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on patients. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate respect for patient boundaries, and ensure patient safety.

A state license or ARRT certification and BLS certification are needed, with one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred. The position includes comprehensive medical benefits, wellness dollars, and a 401(k) employer match.

Limited X‑Ray Technologist

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well‑being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrate a high level of competency and ensure team members are safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on‑site or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

Pay Range is $24-$34 per hour.
