Job summary

RadNet in California is seeking a Limited X-Ray Technologist to perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams, while monitoring patient well‑being and addressing questions.

You will work with physicians, safeguard PHI, and ensure compliance with policies; a patient‑focused, professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• State license and/or ARRT certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• Must have BLS certification.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer questions regarding exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications per policies and law.
• Protect patient property and financial information on site or portals.

You Will

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates a high level of competency and ensures team members are safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
