We are seeking a LIMITED X-RAY TECH to become part of our team!

You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures within the scope of licensure, achieving a high level of image quality in minimal time.
• Maintain and be responsible for the upkeep of the x‑ray room.
• Demonstrate knowledge and ability to use an EMR system.
• Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support medical staff including accurately entering patient information onto the EMR, answering phones, greeting patients, updating medical charts, handling consents and correspondence, ordering laboratory services.
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper benefits and billing procedures.
• Escort patients to their exam rooms.
• Enter physician laboratory orders using the EMR and complete requests matching patient demographics with the correct billing information.
• Take medical history and record vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and patients for examination, including assisting the provider if needed.
• Prepare and administer injectables/medications to patients as ordered by the provider.
• Follow standardized procedures (administering injections, emergency protocol, assisting office procedures, collecting specimens).
• Replenish and restock all supplies and have the exam rooms ready for the next patient.
• Follow HIPAA compliance regulations in protecting patient information.
• Will perform other duties and responsibilities when assigned.

• Basic Life Support certification.
