You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedures within the scope of licensure, achieving a high level of image quality in minimal time.
Maintain and be responsible for the upkeep of the x‑ray room.
Demonstrate knowledge and ability to use an EMR system.
Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support medical staff including accurately entering patient information onto the EMR, answering phones, greeting patients, updating medical charts, handling consents and correspondence, ordering laboratory services.
Communicate with insurance companies for proper benefits and billing procedures.
Escort patients to their exam rooms.
Enter physician laboratory orders using the EMR and complete requests matching patient demographics with the correct billing information.
Take medical history and record vital signs.
Prepare exam rooms and patients for examination, including assisting the provider if needed.
Prepare and administer injectables/medications to patients as ordered by the provider.
