Job summary

Vamos Health seeks a reliable Limited Scope X-Ray Technician to perform designated diagnostic imaging within licensure, ensuring patient safety and image quality in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited limited scope radiography training program.
• Current Utah state licensure as a Radiology Practical Technician.
• Passing ARRT Limited Scope exam or Bone Densitometry exam prior to Utah licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Clinical or outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging within the scope of licensure and provider orders.
• Verify patient identification and correct exposure settings and positioning.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Position patients and apply shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
• Review images for quality and accuracy; repeat studies as needed.
• Document procedures and imaging results in the patient record.
