Job summary

Concentra in Austin, TX is seeking an X Ray Technician Limited Scope to join our patient care team. The role performs routine x-ray exams under direct supervision, ensuring safety and a quality patient experience.

You will support registration and referral management, maintain equipment, and assist clinicians during examinations, with hours 8a-5p, Monday through Friday. This position requires a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate and CPR/First Aid certification, with strong

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Completion of state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist with positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images per procedures and regulations.
• Maintain radiology safety and protect patients and staff from exposure.
• Ensure imaging equipment is functioning and report malfunctions to Center Operations Director.
• Complete required documentation and ensure radiology reports correctly cross to EMR.
