Job Summary:

The LMR assists the staff and physician by performing selected diagnostic procedures such as chest x-rays, extremity x-rays, and routine duties including radiographic equipment calibration, start-up and shut-down, radiology film development, and clerical duties. The LMR functions as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities based on educational preparation, training, and demonstrated competencies. Direct patient care is provided to patients of all ages.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Limited Radiographer Certification required
• RT license may be considered in place of LMR
• BCLS required
• Minimum two years of LMR and direct patient care experience preferred
• Must comply with all continuing education requirements
