Eligible for up to $10,000 sign-on bonus!

Full-time Rad Tech or grandfathered LMR Medical Assistant

The MA/RT or MA/LMR assists staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information to determine physical and psychological needs, addressing and identifying health problems. Performs radiographic exams as required with general equipment. Functions as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities commensurate with training and demonstrated competencies.

1. Performs all radiographic exams as required.
2. Maintains appropriate and efficient patient flow through exam and treatment areas.
3. Assists physicians, ARNPs, and nurses with patient care, exams, tests, and procedures as designated.
4. Accurately obtains and records vital signs, reporting abnormal readings as appropriate.
5. Performs clerical duties as assigned, including assembling information for patient education, assisting patients with nutrition and toileting as needed, scheduling, and obtaining insurance authorizations for medications.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:

• Basic Medical Assistant experience or training
• Rad Tech license or LMR (must be grandfathered for the state of IN)
• BLS certification required
• Medical assistant training preferred
• Active AART and KBMIRT certifications
