Job Description:

CT Tech

40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Second Shift (Job Hours: 1430 - 0100, Weekend, Call and Holiday Rotation)

$30,000 SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE

Job Summary:

With limited supervision, executes computed tomography images. Gathers histories and prepares needed information to complete the patient’s record. Notifies appropriate persons for equipment services and preventive maintenance. Orders and stocks supplies. The CT Tech will scan in the main CT Department, as well as in the ED and also assist with CT guided procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  2. Active KBMIRT at time of hire. ARRT within 90 days of hire.
  3. CT Registry is required. Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment. When in house training occurs, employee has 16 weeks of training before their one year period begins where they have to obtain CT certification.
  4. BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  5. Additional duties for CT techs include stocking rooms with patient supplies, performing daily QC on scanners, and transporting patients to the ED as needed.
