Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Cookeville, TN is seeking an experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Tech to join our team. You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, develop films, and support medical assistants as needed in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate holds TN X-Ray licensure, BLS, and ARRT certification; prior Medical Assistant experience is a plus. This position offers rotating 36-40 hour weeks with weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• TN State X-Ray License required; ARRT preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage exam room flow.
• Operate radiology equipment and develop films.
• Maintain documentation and patient safety procedures.
• Assist with patient transfers and MA duties as needed.
• Record vital signs and patient history accurately.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
