Job summary

Explore & Develop Lilyfield seeks a Certificate III or Diploma qualified educator to join our close-knit team and create unhurried, meaningful learning experiences for children on Norton Street. We value relationships, intentional teaching, and slow pedagogy, supporting educators to grow professionally.

You will be part of a centre that nurtures hands, hearts and minds while emphasizing reflective practice, collaboration, and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• NSW Working With Children Check current.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Law and National Regulations.
• Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work rights.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a trained educator.

Located on Norton Street, our boutique-sized centre offers something a little different. About you:

• Is Certificate III or Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education.
• Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a trained educator within an early childhood service.
• Is passionate about children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
• Enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a strong team culture.
• Values reflective practice and is eager to continue growing professionally.
• Communicates confidently and professionally with children, families, and colleagues.
• Brings warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm to their work every day.

Essential Requirements

• ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Law and National Regulations.
• Complete a Prohibition Declaration as part of the recruitment process.
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of valid Australian work rights.
