Job summary

Guardian Childcare & Education Sherwood Forest invites passionate Educators to join a supportive team shaping young minds through play-based learning. You’ll work with a friendly Centre Manager, access rich resources, and celebrate milestones with families while delivering Guardian’s unique learning program.

Ideal candidates bring a Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, WWCC, and a commitment to 7am–6pm schedules with a rotating roster; join us for career growth and a top-tier

Qualifications

• Mandatory Child Protection training via GECCKO platform.
• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or Diploma (or working towards it).
• Availability to work 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating roster.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Access to resources in learning spaces and share milestones with families.
• Implement Guardian learning program in daily activities.
• Collaborate with Educators and Centre Manager to support children's learning.
• Engage in ongoing learning within an incredible team.
• Participate in career progression opportunities across the network.

The Centre:

Guardian Childcare & Education Sherwood Forest is a leafy, nature-inspired haven featuring custom outdoor play spaces, an on-site chef, and a passionate team dedicated to play-based early learning from nursery to Kindergarten.

At Guardian, we’re a place people love to be.

Here’s what you’ll bring:

• Completion of the national mandatory Child Protection training via the GECCKO platform
• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or Diploma (or working towards it or working towards another ECE qualification)
• Availability to work between from 7am- 6pm, Monday to Friday, with a rotating roster
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC for VIC).

Ideal to have:

• Child Protection Certificate
• Food Safety Certificate
• Over 2-3 years of experience in the early childhood education sector
