Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking coaches for Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute programs in Seattle. You will lead weekly classes for kids aged 18 months to 12 years, following our lesson plans to teach fundamental soccer skills and developmental milestones.

Coaches are expected to be energetic, creative, and safety-conscious, with weekend availability and a collaborative spirit to support community events and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Ability to anticipate issues and apply logic to solve problems.
• Clear written communication for documentation and updates.
• Strong verbal communication with kids, parents, and teammates.
• Basic computer skills to maintain records and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Come to work each shift with a positive attitude, ready to have fun.
• Be available to work weekend mornings.
• Create a bond with kids in your classes throughout the session.
• Follow weekly lesson plans.
• Adhere to safety guidelines for Lil’ Kickers programming.
• Set up, clean up, and maintain the field.
• Complete recommendation cards and customer care calls each session.
• Achieve a high rate of customer retention from season to season.
• Assist with marketing efforts and community events.

Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute Coaches coach weekly classes for kids ages 18 months to 12 years old. Coaches are well-trained to bring high energy and creativity to the games and activities they lead each week. Through our lesson plans, teach great fundamental soccer skills and help kids master important developmental milestones.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems and considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

• Oral Comprehension and Expression — Ability to understand and communicate so others can understand ideas and information.
• Computer – Ability to develop and maintain computer records in Word, Excel and other software required by TBCC and regulatory agencies.

EXPERIENCE

• Lil' Kickers/Skills Institute Coaches are team players who are reliable, creative, passionate, and willing to go the extra mile for the children in their classes.
• No prior coaching experience necessary (training provided)
• Food Handler's permit required
