Job summary

The Bay Club Company (TBCC) is seeking coaches for Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute to run weekly kid-focused soccer sessions. Coaches bring energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to child development while delivering engaging activities as per the approved lesson plans.

Applicants should be reliable team players with a positive attitude, able to work weekend mornings, and comfortable managing activities with children aged 18 months to 12 years. Training is provided.

Qualifications

  • Problem Anticipation and deductive reasoning to foresee issues and choose best solutions.
  • Written comprehension and expression to read and convey information clearly.
  • Oral comprehension and expression for effective communication.
  • Computer skills to manage records in Word, Excel and related software.

Responsibilities

  • Come to work each shift with a positive attitude, ready to have fun.
  • Be available to work weekend mornings.
  • Create a bond with kids in your classes throughout the session.
  • Follow weekly lesson plans.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines outlined for Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute programming.
  • Set up, clean up, and maintain the field.
  • Complete recommendation cards and customer care calls each session.
  • Achieve a high rate of customer retention from season to season.
  • Assist with marketing efforts and community events.

Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute Coaches coach weekly classes for kids ages 18 months to 12 years old. Coaches are well-trained to bring high energy and creativity to the games and activities they lead each week. Through our lesson plans, teach great fundamental soccer skills and help kids master important developmental milestones.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Problem Anticipation/ Deductive Reasoning — Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and then apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems and considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Written Comprehension and Expression — Ability to read, understand and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
  • Oral Comprehension and Expression — Ability to understand and communicate so others can understand ideas and information.
  • Computer – Ability to develop and maintain computer records in Word, Excel and other software required by TBCC and regulatory agencies.

EXPERIENCE

  • Lil' Kickers/Skills Institute Coaches are team players who are reliable, creative, passionate, and willing to go the extra mile for the children in their classes.
  • No prior coaching experience necessary (training provided)
  • Food Handler's permit required
