Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and basic financial statement literacy.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn affordable housing finance and LIHTC underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting team based on transaction volume and priorities.
• Review and analyze pro formas, market studies, appraisals, and engineering reports.
• Collect, validate, and organize transaction data and underwriting files.
• Perform basic financial analysis and quality-control using Excel and company systems.
• Summarize income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and REO schedules.
• Assist with underwriting memoranda, investment summaries, and presentation packages.
• Research developers, guarantors, markets, financing sources, and transaction participants.
• Support milestones tracking, information requests, and special projects.
