Job summary

Habitat America seeks an experienced Tax Credit Property Manager for the Salisbury area. You will oversee daily operations, lease management, and regulatory compliance in LIHTC communities, delivering excellent resident service and financial performance.

The role requires strong customer service, detailed-oriented execution, and the ability to work independently while following company policies and leadership direction. Prior Yardi experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Tax Credit Property Manager or Community Manager.
• Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or LIHTC cert preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following policies and leadership.
• Experience with Yardi or similar PM software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing financial reports and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of LIHTC income certification and re-certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a tax credit community ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide exceptional service to residents, prospects, and partners.
• Manage leasing, occupancy, and resident relations.
• Review monthly operating statements and cash flow variances.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial and performance reports.
• Ensure LIHTC compliance including income certifications and recertifications.
• Maintain resident files and documentation per agency requirements.
• Supervise property staff and uphold operational standards.
