The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Leasing Specialist will prepare, review, and audit rental applications and resident files to ensure they comply with LIHTC, fair housing, and other relevant regulations. This role will assist in implementing resident acquisition strategies, recertification tasks, and completing audits.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in the LIHTC compliance application process, fair housing laws, and has excellent organizational skills. This role requires diligent problem-solving, proactive communication, and research and analysis skills. This position reports to the Regional Resident Engagement lead or relevant supervisor.

This is a full-time position based on-site, with occasional responsibilities requiring flexibility for evening or weekend activities. Travel within the City of Alexandria is sometimes required.
