Affordable Equity Partners, Inc. seeks a Development Manager to originate and coordinate all development tasks for Low Income Housing developments and other housing credits.

Working on the ground, you will identify sites, underwrite sources and uses, oversee LIHTC applications, and collaborate with equity investors and lenders through closing. You will lead with minimal supervision, supported by a back-office team, and interact with local officials to secure community approvals, manage city

Qualifications

• Experience with LIHTC process and state/federal housing credits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to address public meetings and meet with public officials.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Review and summarize state specific QAPs.
• Identify and analyze potential sites for new construction developments and acquisition targets for acquisition-rehab developments.
• Negotiate terms for site control of development sites.
• Coordinate with local civic leaders for development support and coordinate community approvals.
• Manage city approval processes including rezonings, variances, construction plan approvals and permitting.
• Attend state specific QAP trainings.
• Underwrite development project budgets.
• Work with development team to assemble and submit LIHTC applications.
