Job summary

Gates Hudson is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support LIHTC communities, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate documentation across properties. The role includes training onsite teams and addressing compliance questions, with opportunities to collaborate across teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong LIHTC experience, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with others to uphold high standards of compliance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of LIHTC or tax credit experience.
• One to two years of leasing or onsite property management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and landlord/tenant laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LIHTC, Fair Housing, ADA compliance across properties.
• Review leasing files and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections as needed.
• Provide ongoing compliance training to onsite staff.
• Coordinate resident and vendor communications and support.
