Job summary

Gulf Coast Housing Partnership, Inc. seeks a Compliance Specialist to assist the Compliance Manager in daily oversight and administration of program compliance for GCHP Management's growing property management portfolio.

The Specialist shall assist with periodic reporting to investors and funding agencies and review lease-up files for tenant file accuracy. Ideal candidates will have LIHTC certification within the last 12 months, a minimum of five years LIHTC experience, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• LIHTC compliance certification within last 12 months required
• Minimum of 5 years LIHTC experience
• Working knowledge of HOME, Section 8, HUD programs a plus
• Proficient in OneSite Affordable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication across diverse audiences
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating rent, utility allowances, and income limits
• Conduct on-site and electronic tenant file reviews to mitigate compliance risk
• Maintain current knowledge of affordable housing programs across the portfolio
• Review tenant certifications for compliance with program regulations and protocols
• Respond to state agency and investor requests for tenant files and documentation
• Request and track corrections to non-compliant files from management
• Assist with training staff on tenant file compliance and recertification protocols
• Provide technical guidance to property management
