Stones River Electric in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lighting Technician to support our national operations. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial lighting systems and controls, with emphasis on field troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lighting & Electrical Technician with 2–3 years of hands‑on field experience. This role focuses on the installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial and industrial lighting systems, controls, and associated electrical branch circuits.

Requirements

• 2-3 years Experience with commercial lighting systems and repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and comfortable with heights
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload in the field
• Comfortable using basic technology (iPad, etc.)
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR

Tools Required

• Basic electrical hand tools including meter, pliers, wire strippers, and tape measure
