Job summary

Hera Lighting L.P. in Norcross, GA is seeking a Technical Support & Development Engineer to bridge engineering and real-world application, performing hands-on testing and manufacturing coordination under the Engineering Manager.

You will diagnose issues, interpret CAD drawings for BOMs, and collaborate with overseas facilities to meet UL/NEC standards; the role offers growth into management. Applicants should have a BSEE or BSEET and 2–3 years in technical support or hardware engineering,

Qualifications

• BS EE or related engineering degree required; recent grads encouraged.
• 2-3 years in technical support, testing or hardware engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, SSL, and LED manufacturing.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power meters.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and design solutions for customers and staff.
• Interpret CAD drawings to generate BOMs, connection diagrams, and manuals.
• Run daily lab testing, modify samples, and operate equipment in the testing lab.
• Coordinate with overseas factories to ensure product specs and quality.
• Assist with UL/NEC standards projects and safety certification efforts.
• Support production during urgent orders and manage multiple projects.
