Metro Electric Supply in Missouri seeks a friendly, sales‑oriented showroom associate to help customers select lighting and related products. You will read catalogs, answer questions, and process orders while delivering excellent service.

No lighting experience is required; we provide training and incentives. This is a full‑time, hourly role with weekend work and occasional evenings, and compensation starts at $18 per hour.

Qualificações

• Outgoing and social personality with a customer‑focused approach.
• Self‑motivated with attention to detail and problem solving.
• Reliable, punctual and creative in finding solutions.
• Strong customer service skills; lighting industry experience a plus.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Sell associated products at the showroom.
• Assist in promotions and advertisements.
• Read catalog or computer for replacement part stock number and price.
• Advise customer on substitution or modification when part is not available.
• Fill customer orders from stock.
• Prepare sales slip and receive payment.
• Mark and store parts in stockroom or area according to system; may take inventory.
• Keep showroom neat and orderly.
• Place new merchandise on display; receive, hang, remove, pack and ship products.
