Rexel USA is seeking a Lighting Showroom Sales professional to join the Mayer Team in Pelham, AL. This role focuses on promoting and selling residential and small commercial lighting products and connected home lighting solutions, while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, creating quotes with gross margin targets, following up to secure orders, and coordinating shipments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience.
• High School or GED - Required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon entering the lighting showroom.
• Create quotes for customers, ensuring an acceptable gross margin.
• Follow-up with customers to secure order.
• Convert quotes to orders within customer expectations.
• Enter and bill orders in a timely manner.
• Monitor and cancel unsuccessful quotes.
• Proactively expedite orders.
• Establish and communicate material promise dates.
• Coordinate with customers and internal resources regarding shipments/delivery.
• Review customer pricing for accuracy.
• Issue return tickets.
• Participate in supplier promotions from sales and marketing.
• Keep customer contacts up to date.
• Support continuous quality improvement efforts.
