Job summary

Captivate, LLC is seeking a Lighting & Shading Installation Technician to join our North Salt Lake field team. You will wire, install, program, and test automated shading and lighting systems in high-end homes and properties, ensuring precise mounting and flawless operation.

We value hands-on, reliable professionals with construction or electrical background, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, carpentry, or electrical installations.
• Strong attention to detail for seamless system installs.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wire, install, program, and test automated shading and lighting systems.
• Ensure all components are securely mounted, aligned, and fully functional.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with shading and lighting systems.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, installations, and service work.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, builders, and other trades on job sites.

Compensation: $18.00 - $35.00 / hour

Description

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience in construction, carpentry, or electrical
• A strong attention to detail to ensure seamless system installations
• Ability to: climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools, lift 50 lbs.
• A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.
• Driving: Valid License w/ Clean record
