Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Lighting Project Designer to lead and manage smaller projects, ensuring high-quality designs in line with engineering solutions. The designer will collaborate closely with engineers and consultants, create visual presentations, and conduct site visits, all while adhering to project budgets and timelines.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field and have significant experience (5+ years preferred) in the building design consulting industry. Proficiency in AGI32 and other design tools is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in technical plans.
• Strong visualization skills.
• In-depth knowledge of lighting design.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine design standards based on IES recommendations.
• Select luminaire options and create schedules.
• Develop visual presentations for clients.
• Design lighting layouts with control sensors.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on various aspects.
• Attend job site visits to review installations.
• Begin managing smaller to medium projects.
• Collaborate to write project proposals.
