We are looking for a Production Assembly Operator to join our Lighting Panel Team. This position will be based at Roebuck, SC. This position could be working with moving material, placing components, fasten parts together, use of mechanical tools, different measurement tools and other assembly functions!

Hourly Rate: $24.65

Shift Hours: 6am-2:30pm (M-Thurs), 5am - 1:30pm (Friday)... Overtime may be required.

You’ll make a difference by:

Responsibilities

  • Execute the mechanical assembly of UPB Panels and Kits in accordance with standardized manufacturing procedures, leveraging SAP systems to interpret production documents and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in assembling a broad range of intricate Kits and Panels with consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct precision assembly operations utilizing various measuring instruments to ensure optimal component alignment; affix components securely using appropriate manual or powered tools.
  • Perform comprehensive quality control checks to verify structural integrity and accuracy of completed assemblies; calibrate and adjust as necessary. Prepare finished units for shipment by executing final packaging, labeling, and sealing procedures. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Identify, escalate, and document any anomalies including defective materials or deviations from safety, quality, or delivery standards.
  • Engage collaboratively in a team-based environment, supporting cross-functional tasks, multi-skilling, and adherence to established production targets.
  • Fulfill additional operational duties and special assignments as directed by supervisory personnel or Group Leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Eligibility is limited to current internal applicants within the Lighting Panel department.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant industrial or assembly experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately operate and interpret results from precision measurement equipment.
  • Proficient in basic computer operations, with the capacity to navigate digital tools supporting manufacturing workflows.
  • Capability to successfully complete and meet the standards of Essential Functional Testing as part of the physical qualification process.
  • Must possess ongoing legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.

The hourly pay for this position is $24.65. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location
