The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking aLP Assembly Working Coordinatorto be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. In this position, you will audit in-process fabricated manufactured goods and assembled products for conformance to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Hourly Rate: $26.75

Shift Hours: 6am - 2:30pm M-Th, 5am- 1:30pm Friday, overtime may be required

As anLP Assembly Coordinator in the Lighting Panel area, you will have the opportunity to shape the future, and we are here to help you make that happen. Join our manufacturing team and contribute to building a better tomorrow. The role will be dedicated to UPB, but areas of responsibility will grow as the department grows.


As an LP Assembly Coordinator your other responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily activities of employees to ensure timely and accurate completion of production schedules.

  • Execute and track cross-training efforts defined by supervision; maintain and update training matrices.

  • Perform all required SAP transactions throughout the production cycle.

  • Monitor production metrics; update reports and records to reflect area performance and KPIs.

  • Set up and inspect UPB Kits, ensuring accuracy and readiness for production.

  • Prepare and stage parts for LP assembly and ensure UPB line setup is complete and efficient.

  • Ensure availability of P3 chassis components before production begins; coordinate proactively with Material Handlers.

  • Notify Group Leader or Supervisor of any part shortages or material issues.

  • Work through SAP to prioritize jobs based on schedule dates and production demands.

  • Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives by empowering teams to take ownership.

  • Promote and uphold Lean Manufacturing principles, including 6S, elimination of 7 Wastes, and workflow efficiency.

  • Participate in daily cleaning of equipment and workstations to maintain safety and functionality.

  • Serve as a backup to the Group Leader as needed.

  • Access and use digital manufacturing documentation, including safety procedures and work instructions.

  • Deliver mid-day and end-of-shift production updates; identify and resolve assembly issues.

  • Complete a Shift Operator Activity Document (SOAD) once per shift.

  • Lead by example in all aspects of performance, safety, and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of all operations in the area, material flow, and SAP transactions.
  • Familiarity with Lighting Panel products and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in empowering teams.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Physical ability to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy materials while making coordinated movements of the hands and arms.
