Job summary

Gregory Electric seeks a Utility Lighting Installer to build, maintain and repair overhead and underground lighting distribution systems. You will work safely with energized circuits, plan jobs from prints, and operate a bucket truck on various projects.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, understand grounding and OSHA guidelines, and hold a CDL-A with 1–3 years of field experience. A strong safety mindset and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics and job orders.
• Understands grounding and equipment setup on sites.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Internet, email and industry programs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Operates company vehicles and tools safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards for energized/de-energized work.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on energized and de-energized overhead and underground systems.
• Review job prints and work orders for pre-job planning.
• Identify voltage levels on circuits and underground pulling equipment.
• Understand sloping, shoring, excavation and ladder safety requirements.
• Operate bucket truck and perform material excavation with hand/power tools.
• Support safety initiatives and line protection devices.
