Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking an entry-level Lighting Technician C to install and maintain streetlights from aerial devices, ladders, and ground level. The role involves working at elevated heights, coordinating with property owners, and ensuring safe job sites.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of heavy equipment, be able to problem-solve in varying conditions, and cope with energized high-voltage systems. CDL is preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Be able to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and any certifications obtained.
• Must have knowledge of working with energized high voltage systems or related skill set.
• Ability to climb different structures and operate required tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavates to assist in installation of structures or cable as required by contract specifications.
• Communicate work to be performed with public and private property owners.
• Work on elevated surfaces and on voltage 600 volts or less with minimal oversight.
• Assist higher-level technicians in lighting construction and maintenance.
• Perform other duties related to lighting power supply installation.
