Candidates typically have 3–5 years of field experience; Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred. OSHA 10/30, NEC knowledge, and blueprint reading are essential, with a valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or formal electrical training preferred.
• 3-5 years field experience in commercial/industrial/residential electrical work.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10/30 certification strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and local codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform electrical tasks on new construction, maintenance, and repair jobs.
• Review plans and specs to plan tools and materials.
• Install wiring, conduit, panels, and equipment per NEC and job specs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing methods.
• Read electrical schematics and perform power distribution installations.
• Operate with mobile dispatch systems to document service tickets.
