Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training or 1–3 years field experience preferred.
• CDL Class A license required.
• Proficiency with blueprints, schematics, and field instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair of energized and de-energized overhead and underground distribution and lighting systems.
• Conduct pre-job planning based on job prints and work orders.
• Identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit, and underground pulling equipment.
• Understand sloping, shoring, excavation, minimum approach distance and ladder requirements.
• Ability to operate bucket truck and perform overhead work.
• Assist with excavation of dirt, rock, concrete, and other materials using hand tools and power equipment.
