Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Ventura, CA is seeking an entry-level Estimator to join our Quotes and Pricing Team. This temp-to-hire role focuses on preparing detailed quotations and cost estimates for lighting projects, reviewing plans, and gathering pricing information from vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Prepare lighting quotations and cost estimates based on project information.
• Review project plans, specifications, documentation, and pricing details.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to support accurate and timely quotes.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with project cost evaluation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Ability to analyze information, compare details, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and comfort working with numbers and data.
• Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable for candidates with the right skills, motivation, and ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations and cost estimates for lighting projects.
• Review plans, specifications, project documentation, and related requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, design, procurement, vendors, and internal team members to gather pricing and product information.
• Research product availability, pricing options, and vendor details to support accurate quotes.
