The George Washington University is seeking a temporary Lighting Engineer for their Foggy Bottom campus. This part-time position involves operating and designing lighting for various events, maintaining the lighting equipment, and supervising crews.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2 years of experience. Knowledge of VectorWorks or AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is preferred. Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required.
Events & Venues at the George Washington University (a department in the Division of Safety & Operations) designs, produces, and manages events on the Foggy Bottom Campus. We provide services to a broad spectrum of clients both in the community and outside of the community. This position is a temporary Lighting Engineer with part‑time hours and an on‑call reporting status. The role requires occasional night and weekend work and reports to the Foggy Bottom Campus.
