Job summary

Aleo Lighting + Controls is seeking an applications and technical support specialist to assist rep agencies, distributors, contractors, and internal teams with product selection, installation questions, and troubleshooting of lighting-control systems.

Responsibilities include supporting AGi32 layouts, BOM preparation, commissioning guidance, and remote training for reps and customers to ensure design intent, reliability, and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networked lighting control systems.
Analytical skills to diagnose issues, interpret technical data, and propose solutions.
Customer Support and communication skills, with clear follow-through.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first technical resource for reps, distributors, contractors, and internal teams on product selection and installation questions.
Recommend luminaire and control solutions for specific applications, including cross-references and value-engineered alternates.
Support photometric layouts in AGi32 — review inputs, interpret results, and confirm target light levels and uniformity.
Troubleshoot field issues remotely: dimming, flicker, sensor behavior, and network connectivity.
Document support cases and resolutions to improve future responses.
