EverLights in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking an experienced Quotations Specialist - Lighting & Controls to support growth in electrical, lighting, and controls projects. The role requires hands‑on knowledge, accurate plans interpretation, and the ability to develop competitive quotations.

The ideal candidate will work with sales, manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive solutions while driving quotation quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in lighting, electrical, controls, or related construction industries.
• Strong knowledge of lighting products and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, lighting plans, fixture schedules, and specifications.
• Experience preparing quotations, estimates, bids, or material takeoffs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/quoting systems.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Acumatica or similar estimating/ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for lighting and controls projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform material takeoffs and identify required fixtures and electrical products.
• Interpret plans to determine project scope and product requirements.
• Obtain and compare pricing, lead times, and alternatives.
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and project management from quotation to order.
