Job summary

Alameda Electrical Distributors in Hayward, CA, is seeking a Lighting Quotations Specialist to join our Lighting team. You will handle requests for quotes, manage revisions, and coordinate with sales, manufacturers, and agency partners to deliver competitive quotes and build lasting customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in quotations or procurement roles, strong communication, and solid knowledge of lighting products.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in quotations, administration, project support, or a similar role.
Knowledge of Cahill, Solar Eclipse and Job Management preferred.
Proficient with MS Office and ability to handle data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue customer quotations; track progress and enter data into Cahill and Job Management.
Review quotes for profitability and completeness before issuance.
Ensure BOM components are identified for each quote and margins are appropriate.
Collaborate with sales, managers, and lighting reps to determine pricing and margins.
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and project managers to gather information and respond to inquiries.
Provide backup support to Lighting Project Managers and sales as needed.
