Job summary

Duke Energy in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Lighting Construction Specialist to lead and execute lighting construction and maintenance activities. You will be the primary contact for contractor resources, ensuring safe work practices, adherence to plans, and on-time execution within the service territory that includes Gastonia, Hickory, and Shelby.

You will manage crew readiness, equipment, and dependencies, while collaborating with internal partners to improve cost, quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Experience in lighting construction or field operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and safety focus required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lighting construction and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to meet schedules.
• Monitor crew productivity, safety, and quality standards.
