Job summary

Bala Cynwyd Middle School is seeking a Lighting and Sound Coordinator to mentor the BC Applause Tech Crew for the Fall show. The role covers setup, operation, and maintenance of stage lighting and sound equipment for rehearsals and live performances.

You will collaborate with the Director and theater staff to foster a safe, productive environment for student cast and crew, ensuring high-quality productions and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with stage lighting and sound operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and operate the stage lighting system, spotlights, sound system, microphones, special sound effects, pre-recorded music, and other equipment for rehearsals and live performances.
• Mentor the BC Applause Tech Crew for the Fall show and work closely with the Director and theater staff to provide a safe, productive environment for student cast and crew.
• Ensure required safety practices and clear communication with all involved.

Bala Cynwyd Middle School is looking for a Lighting and Sound Coordinator to mentor the BC Applause Tech Crew for the Fall show.

The position is responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the stage lighting system, spotlights, sound system, microphones, special sound effects, pre-recorded music, and other stage lighting and sound equipment forrehearsals andlive performances. The successful applicant will workclosely with the Director and other theaterstaff toprovidea clean, safe, productive, and positive environment for all student cast and crew members.
