The Army National Guard seeks a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery on wheeled vehicles in the field and shop. You will inspect, service, maintain, repair, test and replace components, and perform recovery operations including electrical systems work.

You will gain hands-on skills applicable to civilian careers with service stations, auto dealers, and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Interest in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
• Interest in automotive engines and how they work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wheeled vehicles, associated trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
