Job summary

ARK Products in Columbia, SC is seeking a Light Warehouse Associate to pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time shipments in a climate-controlled, on-site facility.

You will learn ARK’s full product line, review each order, prepare shipments for carrier pickup, receive deliveries, and maintain inventory levels. Prior warehouse or shipping experience is a plus, but training is provided. This is a fast-paced role in a small team with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or order fulfillment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

What You’ll Do

The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring that customer ordersship accurately and on schedule. Core duties include :

• Learningto identify ARK’s full product line ( training provided )
  
• Reviewingeach order and p icking the requested items from stock
  
• Packaging itemsinto envelopes or boxes and preparing shipments for carrier pickup
  
• Receivingand signing for deliveries and distributing incoming mail and packagesto the appropriate colleague
  
• Monitoringinventory levels and reporting when stock, bins, or supplies run low
  

Additional responsibilities include:

• Suppor tingthe assembly team with product assembly
  
• Supportingthe manufacturing team with parts production
  
• Liftingand moving boxes and materials
  
• Runningoccasional errands, including trips to the post office
  
• Specialprojects as assigned
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving,or order fulfillment is preferred, though not required. Manufacturingexperience is not required - we will train you on our products and processes.

Strong communication skills , both verbal and written .

Comfort and efficiency with computers. You cannavigate order management and shipping software, email, and basic officeapplications with confidence.

• Flexibilityand adaptability. As a small business, team members support one anotheracross functions; this role may shift between shipping/receiving,assembly, and manufacturing as needed .
  
• A strongwork ethic. You take initiative and ownership, seeing tasks through tocompletion without prompting .

• Thephysical ability to lift and move boxes and remain on your feet throughout a day shift.
  

This is an on-site day shift position in aclimate-controlled warehouse and shipping environment. This role routinely usesstandard office equipment (such as computers, phones, photocopiers) as well asmanufacturing/warehouse equipment (such as ladders, stools, bins, moldingmachines).

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break.
