Base Pay Range

Responsibilities
- Manage all project documentation to ensure compliance, schedule adherence, and budget control.
- Assemble and distribute as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases.
- Schedule projects in logical phases and allocate time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Track and analyze cost data to reduce gaps between estimates and actuals.
- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor bids and budgets.
- Prepare and present comprehensive estimate documentation, identifying gaps and risks.
- Generate estimates across multiple delivery systems and review quotes with project management.
- Assist with post-bid buyouts and subcontractor onboarding.
- Participate in meet-and-greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in construction estimating (commercial preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction law and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
- Experience across diverse project types and delivery methods.
- Proficiency in construction software and willingness to learn new platforms.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prepare estimates from proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Skilled in identifying labor, material, and time requirements.
- Comfortable attending bid meetings, owner meetings, and stakeholder presentations.
- Works directly with the Chief Estimator on both small and large-scale projects.
- Effective communication with subcontractors and suppliers (e.g., concrete, steel precast, masonry).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 (based on experience)
