A leading company in Duarte is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to prepare and deliver meals to patients and patrons. The role involves following HACCP procedures and requires at least 1 year of experience in the food service industry. Candidates should be open to weekend and holiday shifts. This full-time position offers the potential for extension and requires basic knowledge of equipment operation.
Job Description: Position Overview/Project Details:
Read production orders, portion and assemble salads and deli sandwiches, following proper HACCP procedures. Deliver meals to patients at bedside.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in the Food Service Industry.
Minimum Education:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Location:
Duarte Campus, including Helford and Units.
Schedule:
PM shift from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
FTE Conversion/Extension possibility:
Full-time position with potential for extension.
Interview Type:
In person.
Additional Information:
Open to working on weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of equipment operation is required.
Responsibilities include serving school students, hospital patients, or other dining patrons, and performing duties on the tray line.
Prepares and delivers food trays.
Reads production orders on color-coded menu cards to determine appropriate items to place on trays.
Requires 1-3 years of experience.
