Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking an assembler to assemble subs and end products in line with specifications and blueprints. You will pull materials, organize the workspace and ensure products meet schedule targets for on-time shipment.

The role requires reading assembly blueprints, using measuring tools, and performing light repairs or rework when needed while maintaining safety standards and accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required with three years of experience in mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read assembly blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under time constraints.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lb.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE: Provide assembly, testing, repair and/or rework services for incoming and in-house sourced mechanical/electro-mechanical products.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Request material pull, organize and set up work place and assemble subs and end products in conformance with applicable specifications, blue prints and prevailing workmanship standards.
• Work in an efficient manner, so that end products are available for shipment within projected schedules.
• Provide repair and/or rework support for rejected or conditionally approved materials, ECO dispositions, etc. This task may include performing minor hand-tool machining operations (e.g. grinding, filing, tapping, etc.), surface finishing touch up, cleaning, polishing, etc. to bring products back to acceptable quality level.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations as they pertain to own job, work area and overall environment.
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL SKILLS

High school diploma/GED required with three (3) years experience in mechanical assembly. Must exhibit good dexterity, read assembly type blue prints, and have ability to handle basic manual and power tools. Familiarity with use of measuring instruments preferred. A detail-oriented disposition in transacting with numbers, good organization skills, and ability to work under time constraints are also required. Must be able to lift up to 70 Lbs.
