Job summary

Direct Sign Wholesale is seeking a Light Fabricator in Denver, CO to assemble and fabricate lightweight metal components according to client specifications.

You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and assemble parts using basic welding or fastening methods, ensuring final products meet quality standards. Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity are essential for independent or team work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred experience in light metal fabrication or related field.
• Basic welding knowledge or certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with custom fabrication and welding techniques is beneficial.

Job Description

A Light Fabricator is responsible for assembling and fabricating lightweight metal components and products based on client or project specifications. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, assembling parts using basic welding or fastening methods, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. The Light Fabricator must have good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic metalworking equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Expertise in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on precision.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Stamina to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Education And Experience
