Job summary

Fravert in Birmingham, AL seeks a skilled fabricator to read engineering blueprints and fabricate metal/wood components. You will set up fabricating machines, perform quality checks, and contribute to on-time delivery with strong attention to detail and safety.

Experience with MIG/TIG welding or laser welding is preferred; candidates should read tape measures, perform basic math, and work well in a team environment. Hard physical work and lifting are required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conforming with company safety regulations to produce a safe working environment and quality product.
• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
• Constructing base templates if necessary.
• Measuring and marking out, routing, cutting and bending metals.
• Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, torches, welders, brakes, and shears.
