Job summary

StoneConstruction is seeking a skilled Light Equipment Operator with at least 1 year of experience operating light-duty equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, water trucks, tractors, and rollers. The ideal candidate will understand site elevations and receive training in grading to support various projects in Southeast Louisiana.

Responsibilities include performing general labor, inspections, and maintenance, while collaborating with crew members across commercial and utility work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating light-duty equipment.
• Basic understanding of site elevations and ability to learn grading.
• Willingness to perform general labor tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders, rubber-tired backhoes, and light-duty trucks on various sites.
• Spread and level dirt and gravel with skid steers and similar equipment.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on machinery.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with teammates on site to complete tasks efficiently.
