Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Operate Forklift, Skid Steer, Cat 308, Excavator, and trencher to dig holes and trenches, and to remove and transport earth, gravel, and other materials.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Support the company's commitment to safety and its Core Values.

• Work effectively with supervision.
• Operate equipment to dig trenches and holes of specified dimensions and grades.
• Work around underground utilities and in tight spaces.
• Remove loosened material and transport it using equipment.
• Identify safety hazards and take corrective actions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision.

PHYSICAL/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Climb ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and work from elevated or uneven surfaces.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, and occasionally climb onto equipment or trailers.
• Lift or carry objects weighing 35 to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Visual ability sufficient for job duties; eye-hand coordination required.
• Travel and overtime may be necessary.

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of one year of mechanical, industrial, or refinery maintenance experience. Basic knowledge of hand tools. Ability to pass equipment tests and visual assessments. Completion of Matrix Service Safety training and site-specific training. Maintain an active status in the drug testing program. Must pass a background check.
