Job summary

Guardian Fleet Services is seeking a Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver in Florida to join Crockett's Towing, a division of Guardian Fleet Services. You will operate tow trucks, load and transport vehicles, and ensure safety and customer service on the roadside.

The role requires 21+ years, a valid Class E license (CDL not required), and the ability to pass screenings. The job rewards reliability with a $60k–$65k base range plus sign-on bonuses of $1,500 in‑state and $2,500 out‑of‑state.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (Class E or equivalent); CDL not required.
• Local Residency.
• Pass drug screening and background checks.
• Preferred HazMat or air brake endorsements and CMV experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate light‑duty tow trucks (flatbed/rollback and wheel‑lift) to tow or transport passenger vehicles.
• Load, secure, and transport vehicles in accordance with company and DOT safety standards.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding job status, delays, hazards, and customer needs.
• Provide professional customer service, including explaining procedures and ensuring customer safety.
• Complete required paperwork, digital logs, and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment.
• Respond to calls during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
