Prestige Fleet Services is expanding into Rivian electric vehicle service and support, seeking a highly skilled technician with a strong diesel and automotive background who can transition to EV technology. You will diagnose, service, and repair Rivian EVs and heavy-duty vans, perform high-voltage diagnostics, and follow Rivian safety protocols in a mobile, field environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel or automotive repair experience.
• Basic to intermediate electrical knowledge.
• Must supply own tools.
• Rivian EV certification preferred.
• CDL a plus.
• Dodge Promasters experience preferred.
• Welding or fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair Rivian electric vehicles and systems.
• Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs (battery systems, inverters, drive units).
• Follow all Rivian and EV-specific safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout.
• Perform traditional mechanical repairs when applicable (suspension, brakes, HVAC).
• Complete preventive maintenance and inspections for EV fleets.
• Utilize diagnostic software and tablets for work orders and system updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and diagnostics.
• Manage mobile service inventory and parts sourcing.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Diagnose, service, and repair Rivian electric vehicles and systems

Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs (battery systems, inverters, drive units)

• Follow all Rivian and EV-specific safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

• Safety-first mindset
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must supply own tools
• Rivian EV certification (highly preferred) Experience working with electric or hybrid vehicles
• Experience working on Dodge Promasters preferred
• Other EV or high-voltage certifications a plus
• CDL (a plus)
• Welding or fabrication experience
